# About Ordinary

Built because we needed it ourselves.

Ordinary is operated by Rendr — a digital agency that's been running paid acquisition and building stacks for Shopify brands for years. We got tired of stitching together five tools that didn't agree, so we built the one we wanted to use. Brands kept asking to use it too.

## The same problems you've been living with, we lived with too.

Five dashboards open across two monitors. Numbers that
never matched Shopify's. Multi-touch attribution paywalled
behind enterprise tiers we couldn't justify. Creative tools
in a different product than the data telling us what was
working. Roadmap requests we'd been making for years, still
sitting "in progress."

After enough quarter-close conversations where a brand
owner asked "why doesn't this dashboard match Shopify?",
we decided the right answer was to stop explaining and
start building. Ordinary is what we built.

## Every feature exists because we needed it.

No analytics-platform theatre. No dashboards we wouldn't open
ourselves. No "AI-powered" tooling that papers over a
fundamentally weak data foundation. If a feature shipped, it's
because a real campaign on a real brand needed it — and the
existing tools either couldn't do it, did it badly, or hid it
behind a paywall.

That bias shows up everywhere. Numbers match Shopify to
the cent because anything less is a slow trust leak.
Conversion drop-off shows up site-wide and per product
because that's how you find the actual leak. The Offer
Calculator uses your real retention data because flat
assumptions were burning real campaigns we'd run.

## What Ordinary isn't

We don't try to be the unified analytics platform for every
ecommerce stack. We're built specifically for Shopify
brands, because that's the audience we know inside out. If
you run on BigCommerce or WooCommerce, we're not the tool
— yet.

We also don't pool your customer data with anyone else's.
Customer events sent to Meta go to your own ad account,
never aggregated across stores, never resold as benchmark
data. That's not a feature; it's the only honest way to
operate a tool that touches your customers' personal
information.

## Rendr

Rendr is a small digital agency that runs paid acquisition
and builds ecommerce stacks for Shopify brands. Some of our
clients use Ordinary; some don't. The product roadmap is
shaped by what we keep needing on real client engagements —
which means features get built when we actually need them,
not when a sprint plan says they should ship.
