Klaviyo integration for Shopify
Your Klaviyo campaigns next to your Shopify revenue.
Every email blast, every SMS, every flow — joined to the orders your store actually shipped. See real attributed revenue, the hourly engagement burst, and where Klaviyo fits in the journey alongside Meta, Google, and organic.
What you'll see, the moment it's connected
-
Every campaign + flow
One-shot blasts and persistent automations side by side — Welcome Series, Browse Abandon, post-purchase, win-back — with sends, opens, clicks, unsubs, and bounces in your currency and time zone.
-
Real attributed orders
Not Klaviyo's click-ID-only number. Ordinary cross-references every Klaviyo touch against the orders your Shopify store actually shipped — under whichever multi-touch model you've chosen.
-
The full engagement curve
Hour-by-hour for the first day, then day-by-day after. You see the spike, the decay, and where the long tail of orders actually came from.
Inside every campaign
Six surfaces Klaviyo's own dashboard doesn't put on one page.
Click any campaign or flow row and Ordinary opens the layers under headline opens and clicks — so you can stop asking "did this actually drive orders" and start answering it.
-
Delivery + engagement cards
Recipients, delivered, open rate, click rate, total opens and clicks, unsubs, bounces — Klaviyo's own definitions, so the numbers match their dashboard.
-
Hourly engagement burst
Opens, clicks, and revenue per hour as they actually happened. The classic shape: huge bar in the first couple hours, sharp decay across the next day.
-
Per-day decay chart
Daily deltas relative to send day — what happened ON each day, not cumulative. Empty trailing days get trimmed so the curve reads cleanly.
-
Attributed orders modal
The literal orders this campaign touched. Toggle between any-touch, first-touch, and last-touch to see exactly where it sat in each buyer's journey.
-
Flows view
Welcome, Browse Abandon, Checkout Abandon, post-purchase, win-back — every persistent automation with cumulative performance since it started running.
-
Cross-channel attribution
Klaviyo touches participate in your selected attribution model alongside Meta, Google, organic, and direct — so you see the full path, not just the email half of it.
Why there are two revenue numbers
Ordinary shows Klaviyo's own attributed revenue and Ordinary's attributed revenue side by side, and they'll often disagree. That's the point.
Klaviyo's revenue
Uses Klaviyo's own attribution window (typically 5 days for email), credits orders based on Klaviyo's click-ID alone, and can't see orders that closed via a different channel after the click.
Ordinary's revenue
Uses your selected multi-touch model across the full pixel journey — and every order counted is a real, paid Shopify order. Ordinary's revenue totals reconcile to the cent with your Shopify Sales reports.
Use Klaviyo's number for delivery metrics — sends, opens, clicks. Use Ordinary's for outcomes — orders, revenue, ROAS — and for comparing Klaviyo against your other channels on the same yardstick.
What Ordinary will never do with your Klaviyo account
Connecting Klaviyo gives Ordinary read access to your campaigns, flows, and engagement events. That is the entire surface. We don't write anything back, and we don't ask for permission to.
- Never sends a campaign you didn't send yourself.
- Never edits, pauses, or activates a flow.
- Never adds to, removes from, or edits your lists or segments.
- Never imports or syncs profiles into Klaviyo.
- Never reads another business's Klaviyo account.
Running paid ads alongside Klaviyo?
Most stores do. Klaviyo and your ad platforms tend to fight for credit on the same order — Klaviyo's last-click view claims the conversion, Meta's view-through claims it too, and you end up double-counting revenue across dashboards. Connect them together and Ordinary resolves the conflict against your real Shopify orders.
